Can you believe it??? Kailyn is now a full time student!!! She will begin 1st grade in September and have to start the path of knowledge and lots of homework!! I feel for her, although, I always like school. I would say in the last year since she has started school, I have watched her begin to grow up. She is doing so well. I am amazed at how they take it all in at this age and how much they retain. Kailyn is on the verge of reading and doing wonderfully. It really hits home when you see that your children are now learning from other adults and taking it into the world. I think it is almost more exciting for me as her mother, I can't wait until she brings home math, english, science, etc. so that I can help her with her homework!!!!!!
I think it really was a wonderful thing that Grandma and Grandpa could share in the Kindergarden Graduation of their oldest granddaughter!! Here are the proud grandparents of this little red head! Both of them being students themselves, I think they wish that they were graduating from Kindergarden instead. I bet it's a lot more fun!!!!! :)
Here is the Kindercare Kindergarden Graduation class of 2008!!!! They made it through the first year of being in elementary school!!! I do have to let you know that our little Kailyn is the shortest kid in her class. They tried when they were singing the songs to put her in the back, and the poor kid couldn't see anyone. We couldn't see her either!!! She fits right in with this family. I think she takes after her grandma's side of the family!! Not to mention that he mom is the shortest of her family as well!!!! She is one of my children I don't have to worry about getting taller than me!!! :)
Kianna and Abi were very proud of their sister. Kianna is now on her way into the 2nd grade and going strong. As well as Kailyn, Kianna is reading very well and I think Abi and Peanut will love having big sisters to read to them. I am loving watching them read to each other. It is such a blessing to watch!!! I look forward to hearing the voices of the girls reading when they get home. Nana took the bigger girls to the library and they got to check out some books and they can actually read them. They were so excited!! I think it is almost time for their very own library cards!!
On another note, we are almost at 36 weeks and just about done!!!! The doctor said that this wonderful little boy is about 6lbs right now and will gain about 1/4 lbs each week until he arrives. (which I hope is soon) I don't know how much longer the two of us will be able to share this one body!!!! :) I think I am running out of room to house him!! His daddy is so excited for him to make his big entrance into this world. I think he is ready to hold him!!! He says that I have held him enough and now it is his turn!!
