Thanksgiving at the Brunson house was great, but we were missing a few key people. We really wished that the Heber family could be here to share in the annual event. Grandpa and Grandma found this wonderful toy for Trestin for his first thanksgiving. Him and grandpa played with this almost the entire night. In this picture he looks like he is actually playing the saxaphone!!!
So as you know, I have been a stay at home mom since the little man was born. In that amount of time, I have started to cook and bake more. As you could say, I am being domesticated these days. In the past year, I have learned some of the family favorite recipes including, potatoe salad, angel food cake, shortcake, and recently pumpkin pie, lemon marange and pecan!!

This is the lemon mirange pie that I made all by myslef. There is a secret way to make tall peaks with your mirange. Jen I will have to tell you in secret!!!!

I have also learned to make bread from scratch!! I know my little sister kinda had a doubt about not having rolls for dinner with our turkey, but I think my bread was a hit. My dad almost bought some rolls to bring with dinner, but then he had some wonderful bread!!! Here is a picutre of my bread....
Isnt' it beautiful!!!
Anyway...dinner was wonderful and so were the pies! We truly missed the rest of our family this year. You would have thought with all the food that we had that you were all coming over to enjoy it with us. The turkey was wonderful as always...My hubby did an awsome job and it even made the best home made turkey soup!!!!
Here are a few picutures of Trestin at his first Turkey Day!!!

What a happy little guy!!!
We kinda forgot to use the camera and take more picutures of the family, but we didn't miss getting some of Trestin.
Well we can't wait for Christmas and wish that the Hebers could be here to enjoy the holiday with us, but we will settle for getting to see Brooklyn and Jenna in January!!!
Well God Bless you all!!!
Love always
Brunson Family
