HALLOWEEN AT THE BRUNSON'S

OMG....This year was so much fun.  We have been in our home for almost 2 months and we are still loving it.  We live in an amazing neighborhood.  The houses were all decorated and the kids just loved it.

Trestin's thing this year was pumpkins.  He calls them "pump pumps"!  Well Matt has been working long hours and even on some weekends.  We had plans to take the kids to the pumpkin patch because that is all Trestin wanted to do, but needless to say we missed it this year.  So at the last minute we went out to buy some so the kids could carve them.  Well all the stores around here were "OUT"!  Crazy, right?  Well we had one more store to try and they had just got 12,000 lbs of pumpkins.  So in the pouring down rain Trestin and the girls each picked out the one they wanted to carve.  It was so cute to watch them because Kailyn and Abi loved getting their hands dirty with pumpkin guts.  Trestin wasn't so sure.  He thought it was "EWW"!  It took him a while to dig in, but finally he did.  It was so much fun to watch them.

The finished pumpkins lit up the porch!

Mommy and Boy....

Trestin went as an adorable little shark, Kailyn went as Super Woman, and Abigayle went as a Ra Doll. They were so cute. My friend Vanessa came over with her little boy Jeremy (who is the same age as Trestin). Jeremy was a little Tiger. They were so cute. Neither one of them really knew what they were doing, but they had a blast. My cousin Jill came over with Bradyn and he was a lion. The girls went off with some of the neighbors to the scary houses in the neighborhood. There was a house that had scary noises in the yard and my little shark stood there and growled at the headstones.  It was so funny!!!!  I was really proud of the boys becasue we didn't have to carry them once.  They walked the whole way!!!  By the last house their little buckets were full!  Kianna went as a pirate, but she was over the mountains this year!!  We missed her and would have loved to have had her here.

 The kids before we left....

 The first house....

Bradyn had a hard time picking his candy with his mittens on!!!  Too cute!

This year was so much fun and I can't wait until we get to do it next year.  Maybe we will get to decorate our house a little more.
Hope everyone had a great Halloween and now on to the next holiday!!

God Bless you all!

I wanna come next year! Mom was telling about their trunk or treat and it sounded a lot better than ours! Brooklyn had fun watching Dad steal her candy through the computer though!
