Trestin at the Zoo!!!

Trestin took his first trip to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle today!!! Here are some of the fun things that the kids and I saw. I hope you all enjoy the fun that we had!!

Joanna and Conner were in town and got to share in the fun with us. Auntie Jewell got to spend the day with lots of kids and stinky animals.

Look at my beautiful kids!!!! It was so funny to watch Trestin. He just watched with his big brown eyes in wonder at the animals. Every once in a while he would squeel with excitment when one of the animals moved.

How cute is my little man....Standing next to the baby Gorilla! He stood there for this picture and then he wanted to sit down and play in the dirt. He is 100% boy!

The kids with the big Gorillas!!! They wanted to pose with every statue that was in the zoo. Abigayle didn't want to touch them because they were dirty or muddy!!!

The best thing of the day was the snake. Now I really don't like snakes at all. One of the zookeepers was showing a snake and letting the children touch it. Kailyn of course being the "tomboy" of the family and not afraid of bugs. Kailyn was actually afraid to touch the snake, but my "girlie girl", Abi, was right in there petting the snake. I was kind of surprised that she wasn't at all afraid to touch it. It was great!!!!!

This big spider web made out of rope, was in the play area of the zoo. It is meant to look like the woods here in the Northwest. The kids climbed this huge web and then jumped off!!!

It was a great day. Trestin had a wonderful day at the zoo. He ended up sleeping almost the whole time that we were there. It was really cute. Abigayle wanted to see the lions and that was her favorite thing.
