So I am so horrible when it comes to updating my blog. It has been a little crazy in my house. Matt has been working really hard in the Bahammas helping them build a cruise ship port. It has been kinda hard since I have been a single parent for the last few months.
In March Trestin and I got to go down and visit Matt. Boy was it awsome. The weather was perfect as you will be able to tell from the pictures that I will post. It was a long flight to get there. Trestin and I left Seattle early in the morning and then went to Dallas. Our trip got interesting from there. When we boarded the plane in Dallas, they all had to change the oil in the left engine, which didn't take long, but then they had to wait for the maintanence manager to sign the log book. (that took forever) That delayed us for about an hour. That isn't it though, once we taxied out to the runnway, we got stuck by a weather pattern that lasted for about 10 minutes. We finally got in the air and headed to Miami. Well I had to catch a plane into the Bahammas, the only problem was I only had like 5 mins to get to that plane before it took off. Needless to say...We didn't make it. The pilot pulled back early and we missed our connecting flight. I tell you....Trestin and I had to stay at a hotel that night. We had nothing...they had sent our luggage on without us. Well at least they had some stores still open to shop in. I found a good one. Trestin and I got some sleep and the next morning we finally made it to see Matt. I tell you the next time that we go visit him, we will find a better flight plan!!!!
It was so good to see my wonderful husband. Trestin didn't have any trouble getting used to being down there. He was just happy to have his mommy and daddy with him. Matt had to work so during the day Trestin and I played and slept. (since he only sleeps well in the Bahammas) Really it was awsome. He slept in!!!!! Then we played in the pool and waited for Matt to come home. It was fun to get to go out to dinner and just have the time together that I miss so much. Trestin had a lot of firsts while we were there, he felt the sand, he played in the ocean, and he ate some of the beach as well. We relaxed and ate while we were there and had a wonderful time.

He is the cutest nephew ever! Tell Matt I like the hat! :) Hopefully your next trip will be a bit smoother on the traveling side! I know, you should get Manson to fly me and Brooklyn out as well, I'm sure that would make the traveling so much easier for you! :)
